Institutional Excellence Fundamentals

Course Overview

This course provides organizations with a solid foundation in the seven core dimensions of organizational excellence shared by leading national and international frameworks.

It is designed for staff and managers who need to understand not just the award criteria but the underlying principles and practices of excellence so they can apply them in everyday operations, improve performance, and prepare for future award initiatives.

Drawing on widely recognized models — including the Government Excellence Model (GEM2), the King Abdulaziz Quality Award (KAQA), the Dubai Government Excellence Model (DGEM), the Qatar Government Excellence Model (QGEM), the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM), and other national or international models — the program distills the common enablers and success factors into seven focused modules. Each module blends theory with practical exercises to help participants see how excellence principles translate into tangible improvements.

The last module then introduces the pillars, criteria, and fundamentals of the particular framework / model your organization uses.
